Featuring immersive sound effects. Split into Chapters and audio levels normalized. Bass levels fixed and sharp highs softened. The S’s are still a little sharp but softening more resulted in reduced clarity unfortunately. This is the best version of this classic which I have heard and makes the story much more enjoyable.
Brave New World is a classic dystopian novel by Aldous Huxley, published in 1932, that depicts a futuristic World State where citizens are genetically engineered, socially conditioned, and kept content through drugs (soma) and promiscuity to maintain social stability, sacrificing individuality, deep emotion, and freedom for a shallow, engineered happiness. The story follows a “savage” from a reservation who challenges this society, exploring themes of technology, control, and what it means to be human.
