This is the full series of audio plays available from BTR Productions, an older fan/amateur Doctor Who producer. From back in the aimless days between 1989 and NuWho, this series of plays ran from 1998 to 2005.
This is a Brisbane, Australia outfit. Three series of plays were made, along with a number of “short trips” that do not fit comfortably into the chronology.
These were one of the first Doctor Who audio plays available on the Internet. The sound quality is not the greatest compared with DWAD or other outfits out there. The stories are generally quite good. This chronicles an alternative 9th Doctor, long before Russell T. Davis. The plays show that period of time before the idea of the Great Time War, with Gallifrey alive and well.
These stories vary from rather formulaic to very creative. By the way, BTR stands for Beyond Traditional Recognition. They also created some commercial non-Who releases that are not available online at this time. I put this collection together by downloading all the episodes and then combining the several part episodes into single episodes to save space.
I hope you enjoy this. Please do not complain. I make no apologies for placing this in the Doctor Who category. Some amateur Doctor Who audio adventures are really just as good as Big Finish, who started out life as a fan fiction company itself back in 1998 with the releases of the first Bernice Summerfield plays. Back then, Big Finish did not have a Doctor Who license and could only do unrelated media.
I hope you enjoy this release from BTR Productions! Enjoy, and please SEED!
