In 1995 and 1998, the Doctor Who Appreciation Society produced and sold 2 collections of Doctor Who audio adventures entitled Cosmic Fugue 1&2. These were a spin-off from DWAS’s fiction magazine, Cosmic Masque, edited and produced by Jonathan Way and Steven Wickham.

All barring two of the stories were specially written for the collection. The collection was presented by Sophie Aldred and Louise Jameson respectively; the individual stories were read by former Doctor Who stars including Colin Baker, Louise Jameson, Sophie Aldred, Peter Miles, John Leeson, Caroline John, Wendy Padbury and Elisabeth Sladen.
