Brian Aldiss has won almost every prize in the international SF field, including the Hugo And Nebula Awards, and has also been voted “World’s Best Contemporary Writer of Fiction” by the Australians. His most recent successes include the Helliconia trilogy and (with David Wingrove) “Trillion Year Spree: the History of Science Fiction”.
