Joe Haldeman is among “the great” classic SF authors with 7 Hugo awards and 5 Nebula awards and he is in The Science Fiction Hall of Fame.

Among his most well known works are “The Forever War” that won both Hugo and the nebula awards as did “The Hemingway Hoax” (Novella) and “Forever Peace” all in this collection.

Must say it reminds me of Jaroslav Hašek’s “The Good Soldier Svejk” (For those who know that book), even if “The Good Soldier Svejk” cerainly IS NOT Sci-Fi, the style and to a certain extent the content is reminiscent.
Well might just be me, just a thought.
The torrent is on ABB, funny book and worth a read even if it is not SF.
