This is ONLY ADULT Science Fiction (In my view) and I have NOT included “irrelevant” short stories (that I consider “crap”).

Would also claim I have selected the best audio in my selection even though some are not 100% “Crisp” but it is “old stuff”…
It is ok but we always want better… this IS “pre internet” stuff

In regards to Orson Scott Card, as with many other authors the reading order is a “hot topic”.
This collection is arranged the way I believe is correct.
Treating Each series separately and then recomend reading order for the series NOT going by publication of books (just within series) and NOT going by story timeline, and the reason is as follows…

In regards to reading orders…
My PERSONAL opinion of reading order is the books should be read as the story was told by the author, IN THE ORDER OF PUBLICATION WITHIN SERIES.
It is not uncommon an author publish books in different series “simultaneously” in different timelines.
Starting with prequels etc could do 2 things…
1. The prequel is not good since you lack the information of the importance of what is happening.
2. It could be a spoiler for plot twists.
TRUST THE AUTHOR, go by he’s publication timeline (within Series)
Although I do think it is good to know the timeline to “understand” how the series is “built” up.

A LOT of the books/series are collaborations but I only use one name (Orson Scott Card) to keep the file names shorter.
