The Catterson Chronicles is a great unauthorized Doctor Who spinoff that includes elements from the video game Metal Gear Solid.

Similar to the BBV audios, these are not strictly set in Doctor Who world, but another universe. Liam is a member of a race of powerful beings like Time Lords, but they are called Ocilians and only regenerate 7 times. They travel in a time ship called the Orbis.

The largest difference is that Liam is NOT above using violence when it is necessary in his battles, especially with very powerful bad guys like his brother, Jack Catterson (of whom more can be learned in the Extended Universe episodes), and Big Boss, which Metal Gear fans should recognize immediately as the unexpected ultimate bad guy.

This is not an amateur production anymore than Audio Visuals or BBV were. These are mostly some very excellent sci-fi audio that use Doctor Who as a template, especially in the first series, while the second series seems to have more Metal Gear aspects to it.

This is an excellent series, and I do not want people to denigrate it with typical troll comments like “fan made sh*t” and such. Liam Catterson is a great voice artist in himself, playing many of the parts. The lovely Juliet Roar plays Sara Penelope, who is very similar to the relationship between The Doctor and Rose or The Doctor and Charly.

Actually, Liam probably reminds me most of the 8th Doctor in his attitude, as he is VERY human in his interactions and grief and rage, like the 8th Doctor.

I really hope you all enjoy this wonderful YouTube series. I hope that Liam will eventually try to make money off this series!
