Dramatization
This is the AWESOME “Lord Archeron” trilogy that was made by Word of Mouth productions, a professional audio book company in the UK, three years ago with the 50th anniversary.
It contains three plays:
One Fine Time Lord:
Lord Archeron is one of the most celebrated Time Lord in all of history. He is worshiped by a young boy who hasn’t quite chosen an identity yet. This is his story as he must make a decision when he discovers that Lord Archeron plans to destroy Gallifrey “for the good of all the universe.”
Dark Times:
Rassilon is a brilliant but brutally amoral Time Lord that has discovered the key to time travel. His friend Lord Archeron looks on with skepticism. Gallifrey has just survived a civil war, ended brutally by Rassilon. Tensions are high…and then the Vampires attack and all hell breaks loose.
This is an account of the TRUE Rassilon, the brutal murdering but brilliant general whose ambition is limitless, and gives context to the first episode about Lord Archeron and his ambition to destroy Gallifrey
Eternity Rises:
The Time War has just been won at long last, thanks to the Doctor placing Gallifrey in a pocket universe and the Daleks destroying each other. Rassilon had been resurrected from the matrix to lead Gallifrey in the Time War. He is not about to go back to the Matrix. What’s more, the original inhabitants of Gallifrey appear to be returning, the beings who gave Time Lords the gift of regeneration.
Although these stories are not strictly canonical, they were produced by a sophisticated studio like Big Finish. They were released for free on the Word of Mouth website asking for donations for Children in Need.
Enjoy!
